Overview

This gummy combines astaxanthin, resveratrol, vitamin B1, and coconut oil, targeting heart health, joint comfort, and exercise recovery. The astaxanthin is appropriately dosed for antioxidant and skin benefits, but the resveratrol content is low, which may limit its effectiveness. The inclusion of coconut oil provides medium-chain triglycerides (MCTs) but may also increase LDL cholesterol levels. While Vitamin B1 is present, some of the marketing claims are not strongly supported by the ingredient dosages.

The Good

Convenient form: Gummies are easy to consume.

Astaxanthin Dosage: Contains a clinically relevant dosage of astaxanthin.

Free of Common Allergens: Does not contain gluten, soy, gelatin, peanuts, shellfish, tree nuts, sweeteners, artificial colors, artificial flavors, preservatives, and salicylates.

The Bad

Low Resveratrol Dosage: The 10mg dose of resveratrol may not provide significant benefits.

Potential Drug Interactions: Resveratrol may interact with several medications.

Risk of Increased LDL Cholesterol: Coconut oil may raise LDL cholesterol levels, posing a risk for some individuals.

Is it for you?

Best For: Individuals seeking antioxidant support, general wellness, anti-aging benefits

Skip If: You have a coconut allergy, are pregnant or nursing, or are on blood-thinning medication without consulting a doctor.
