Overview

Av-VITE FB provides very high doses of Vitamin B6, Folacin (Folic Acid), and Vitamin B12. While these doses can be highly effective for correcting specific deficiencies, the extremely high amounts of Folacin (625% DV) and Vitamin B12 (16667% DV) are far beyond typical daily requirements and could mask B12 deficiency symptoms if not carefully monitored. The presence of FD&C Red #2, a banned artificial colorant in the US due to safety concerns, detracts significantly from the product's overall quality and safety profile.

The Good

Provides extremely high, potentially therapeutic, doses of essential B vitamins for individuals with severe deficiencies.

Effective for treating diagnosed deficiencies of Vitamin B6, Folacin, and Vitamin B12 when prescribed by a healthcare professional.

Supports various critical bodily functions including nerve health, red blood cell production, and metabolism.

The Bad

Contains FD&C Red #2, an artificial colorant banned in the US due to carcinogenicity and other health concerns.

Very high dosage of Folacin (Folic Acid) can mask Vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms, potentially leading to irreversible neurological damage.

High Vitamin B6 dose (25 mg) can cause peripheral neuropathy with long-term use.

Is it for you?

Best For: Individuals seeking general nutritional support, those with potential dietary gaps, adults of all ages

Skip If: You have known allergies to common supplement ingredients or are on specific medications without consulting a doctor.
