Overview

The product provides a concentrated Aloe Vera gel extract which is generally well-regarded for digestive health. While the 200:1 concentration makes the 25mg dose equivalent to 5000mg of fresh gel, specific clinical studies for IBS showed benefits with oral doses ranging from 30 to 100 mL/day of Aloe Vera gel. It's difficult to directly compare the efficacy of a 200:1 concentrated extract to fresh gel in precise volumetric terms, but the provided dose is on the lower side for directly replicating some of the more robust clinical study outcomes.

The Good

Traditional Use for Digestive Health: Aloe Vera has a long history of traditional use for supporting digestive comfort.

Concentrated Extract: The 200:1 concentrate offers a potent form of Aloe Vera Gel.

Convenient Softgel Form: Easy to take and no unpleasant taste associated with Aloe Vera juice.

The Bad

Confusing Dosage Instructions: The label explicitly states "take four (1) softgel three times daily," which is inherently contradictory and could lead to incorrect dosing.

Potential for Gastrointestinal Discomfort: Higher doses (especially if interpreted as 4 softgels three times daily) may cause laxative effects or stomach upset.

Limited Long-term Safety Data: While generally safe for short-term use, long-term effects of concentrated oral Aloe Vera are not extensively studied.

Is it for you?

Skip If: You are pregnant, nursing, or have a medical condition; consult a doctor if experiencing diarrhea or abdominal pain.
