Overview

Flexcin is a joint health supplement containing Cetyl Myristoleate and a proprietary blend of other ingredients. While some ingredients like glucosamine and MSM have evidence supporting their use for joint health, the proprietary blend makes it impossible to determine if they are present in effective doses. Cetyl Myristoleate has limited evidence and some safety concerns. The overall effectiveness of the product is questionable due to these issues.

The Good

Contains Vitamin C which acts as an antioxidant, helping protect the body from damage caused by free radicals.

Includes Glucosamine Sulfate, which has some evidence for reducing joint pain and improving function in osteoarthritis.

Contains MSM which some studies suggest can improve pain and function in people with osteoarthritis of the knee, though the benefits are small and often clinically insignificant.

The Bad

Proprietary blend obscures individual ingredient dosages, limiting accurate assessment of efficacy for key ingredients.

Cetyl Myristoleate lacks robust human studies and has raised safety concerns by the EFSA.

Several ingredients are likely underdosed, including Calcium, Zinc, Copper, and Manganese.

Is it for you?

Best For: Individuals seeking joint support, those with joint discomfort, active adults

Skip If: You have allergies to shellfish (if glucosamine/chondroitin derived from shellfish), or are pregnant/nursing without consulting a doctor.
