Overview

Hepatoplex Two contains a proprietary blend of numerous traditional Chinese herbs, many of which have preclinical and some clinical evidence for their hepatoprotective, kidney-supporting, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. However, the proprietary nature of the blend means that specific dosages of individual ingredients are not disclosed, making it difficult to ascertain if each component is present at clinically effective levels. While the blend as a whole is described with a total of 1950mg per serving, the lack of transparency on individual ingredient amounts makes it challenging to fully evaluate its efficacy.

The Good

Based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) principles for liver and kidney support.

Contains a wide array of botanicals known for anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

Chinese Salvia Root Extract (Danshen) has substantial research for kidney function improvement.

The Bad

Proprietary blend's lack of transparency hinders efficacy assessment of individual ingredient dosages.

Uncertainty regarding optimal or clinically effective doses for each herb in the blend.

Licorice Root Extract can cause adverse effects like hypertension and hypokalemia at higher doses.

Is it for you?

Best For: Individuals seeking liver and kidney support, those interested in traditional Chinese herbalism

Skip If: Pregnant, nursing, have medical conditions, or taking medications without consulting a healthcare professional
